Sign the Do No Harm petition on health care policy

If you care about affordable, accessible, and quality health care in the United States, please read and sign the Do No Harm Petition from the Galen Institute:

The Hippocratic Oath Taken by All Doctors: “First, do no harm”

Politicians, policymakers and public officials should take the same oath:
DO NO HARM TO AMERICA’S HEALTH CARE SYSTEM.

Many of the proposals and ideas will make America’s health care system worse, not better!

Our freedom to make basic decisions about life, liberty, and health care is at stake.

Tell the politicians in Washington to adopt the following principles for judging any health reform proposal, policy, or legislation:

Please sign this petition to let elected officials know you believe that any proposal that includes any of the Do No Harm guidelines should be rejected.

Tell them you don’t want centralized Washington control over our health sector but that you want a system that puts patients first.

I am against universal health care and do not want complete governmental control of our health care. It would be a disaster like everything else controlled by the government.

I am against universal health care. We, the public, should have the final say on this matter and I feel our voices are not being heard. This is still a democracy (for now) and I detest the socialist agenda the Obama administration is pushing.

Since the government is doing such an awesome job with social security and medicad, by all means lets have them “fix” health care! I sure envy Europeans getting to wait 5 years to fix a broken arm!
