Single-payer “universal” car care
May 27th, 2009 | by Brian Schwartz |This video is an entry for the Galen’s Institute’s “Do No Harm” contest. All the entries are here. I haven’t watched them all, but I’ve learned something. Each video is about 90 seconds. If it doesn’t grab my attention in the first 10 seconds or so, I move on to the next one. Thus far, the one I linked above is my favorite:
Why?
It tells a story. It’s specific. You can can identify with the situation. It’s clever and edgy. It also abides by the “show don’t tell” principle. Some of the other videos seem to lecture. This does not.
It wouldn’t surprise me if this one wins the contest.
