Hear CO Attorney General John Suthers discuss ObamaCare lawsuit

From Jon Caldara:

Colorado Attorney General John Suthers joins our Research Director Dave Kopel to discuss the lawsuit he and 12 others State Attorneys General have jointly filed, that claims the health care bill recently signed by President Obama is unconstitutional because it violates the 10th Amendment. AG Suthers makes a good point: if Obama Care is allowed to ride, it will be a dangerous precedent – one from which we can never return. As the AG puts it, if the Feds can punish you for NOT engaging in commerce, is there any limit to their power? To get the whole scoop, listen to the podcast on iVoices.org.

I am very much concerned how Obamacare if not repealed will affect our freedoms in the future. Yes, so many people who support the healthcare bill as written and oppose any state opposition to it, are not looking beyond their noses. Unfortunately, public schools have not been teaching students about the Constitution, and not emphasizing that non-compliance with it, and even our local & state laws, creates more problems. And, consequently, more laws are passed to try and fill the gap – which seems to be one of ignorance, rather than a need for another law. Instead, we lose more and more freedom to conduct our lives as we deem necessary. Unfortunately, Congresses present and in the past have set very poor examples of following the Law. Circumventing the law is too often their goal. Please continue the lawsuit to block this unconstitutional legislation! Thank you.
